Arts and Health
We support people who experiencing or recovering from mental health issues from acute settings in hospitals, through to community settings and Artlink Central’s artspaces. We work closely in partnership with Forth Valley NHS and community partners. We have a strong programme of work for older people with dementia as well as with adults in recovery. We have a regional coordination role for the Forth Valley’s involvement in the Scottish Mental Health Arts and Film Festival and we coordinate the Connections Gallery in Falkirk Royal Infirmary.

Scottish Mental Health Arts and Film Festival
Creativity is great for your mental health and wellbeing and each year Artlink Central coordinates a regional programme as part of the Scottish Mental Health Arts and Film Festival. We work with the health board, local authorities, third sector and arts agencies to put together an exciting programme of music, film, arts and more, to challenge the stigma of mental health and to get everyone thinking about mental health issues, either their own or that of others.
